- UB 540-38 enamelled wires are recommended for all types of rotating & static electrical machines.
- The enamelled wires fully meet specification requirements of IS 3730-8 / IEC 60317-8 (Polyesterimide enamelled round copper wires, Class
- 180). Dual coated wires of UB 540-36-can be used as a base coat along with Polyamide-imide based wire enamels, such as, AI 1013 BV/.. for
- making of dual coated round & rectangular wires to IS 13730-13/IEC 60317-13 & IS 13730-29/IEC 60317-29 respectively.
- UB Terebec 540-38 coated wires offer -Improved flexibility and adherence
- -Excellent resistance to hot transformer oil & refrigerants
- -High cut through temperature
- -Excellent runnability on high and medium speed machines.
- -Wide curing range of UB 540- 38 gives an added advantage of flexibility of processing.
- It is made sure that any restricted substances listed in Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive (2002/95/EC) is not used in the
- making of UB 540-36.
- UB 540-38 can be used on both Horizontal & Vertical enamelling plants with die wiping. For the wire sizes < 0.5 mm, the enamel may need thinning to suit the application.
- UB 115 is recommended for viscosity reduction & cleaning.
