- UB 540-36 enamelled wires are recommended for all types of rotating & static electrical machines.
- The enamelled wires fully meet specification requirements of IS 3730-8 / IEC 60317-8 (Polyesterimide enamelled round copper wires, Class 180). Dual coated wires of UB 540-36-can be used as a base coat along with Polyamide-imide based wire enamels, such as, AI 1013 BV/.. for making of dual coated round & rectangular wires to IS 13730-13/IEC 60317-13 & IS 13730-29/IEC 60317-29 respectively.
- UB 540-36 is characterised by - Low viscosity; suitable for processing of rectangular wires and thick round wires up to 5.0 mm dia. by felt wiping. - Suitable for fine wires on horizontal machines with felt/die applicatio. - Excellent flexibility & adhesion properties. - Wide curing range and ability to run on high speed machines.
- It is made sure that any restricted substances listed in Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive (2002/95/EC) is not used in the making of UB 540-36.
- UB 540-36 is a low viscosity enamel suitable for felt and die wiping applications
- UB 115 is recommended for viscosity reduction & cleaning.
